If you’re looking for free debt help from a friendly team who are here to support you, then you’ve come to the right place. Christians Against Poverty (CAP) has been providing free debt help in the UK since 1996. CAP help thousands of people get out of debt every year, equipping them with the tools and confidence to face any storms that may come their way in the future.

All Hallows Church has partnered with CAP to run a debt centre for anyone living in the Stockport area.
The CAP debt help service is free and can be provided either face-to-face or by telephone.

You’ll get practical help and a supportive community around you, no matter what challenges you’re facing. We’ll help you find the best route out of debt and walk with you every step of the way.

If you need support to get out of debt, CAP is here to help. Please contact the New Enquiries Team on 0800 328 0006 and they will get you booked in for your first appointment.

Life Skills: New ways to live for a brighter future
Money impacts all areas of our lives: what we can or can’t afford, our relationships, what we eat, our health and wellbeing and much more.

CAP Life Skills is a friendly group where you’ll gain practical skills and discover new ways to live for a brighter future.

If you want to see your money go further, find ways to save money, have more time and less hassle in your day to day life, then Life Skills is for you.
What is it?
It’s an 8-week course that will equip you with tools such as how to eat well on a budget, and how to make your money go further. You’ll meet with a group of like-minded people and learn practical skills from our trained coaches – and have some fun along the way!
How much does it cost?
Absolutely nothing – our Life Skills courses are completely free.
Do I have to be a Christian?
Not at all – our services are for everyone. As Christians, we believe that God answers prayer, so we may offer to pray with you, and talk about our faith, but it’s up to you if you’re happy for us to do this or not. The Life Skills course is here to help people from all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities and faiths.
When does it start and how can I sign up?
We don't currently have a date for the next course at All Hallows but can let you know where other local courses are taking place.
